Prosecutors have recently updated the federal indictment against Sean “Diddy” Combs to include accounts from two additional alleged victims. The indictment filed on Thursday added charges that two women were coerced into commercial sex acts and that one woman was dangled over an apartment balcony. These new charges were part of a grand jury return in Federal District Court in Manhattan.
Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, stated that the latest indictment does not contain any new offenses. The lawyer also disputed the government’s claim that two of Diddy’s former girlfriends were actually prostitutes, emphasizing Diddy’s commitment to fighting the charges and winning at trial.
Diddy was arrested in September 2024 on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He is currently facing over 30 civil lawsuits from alleged victims of sexual assault and misconduct, maintaining his innocence throughout.
The new indictment does not introduce any additional charges but includes accounts from two alleged victims that strengthen the prosecution’s claims of racketeering and sex trafficking. The filing alleges that Diddy provided monetary payments, career opportunities, and housing expenses to alleged victims to keep them compliant.
Diddy allegedly used force, threats, and coercion to compel victims to engage in commercial sex acts. The indictment also extends the period of the alleged racketeering conspiracy back to 2004.
Diddy’s trial is scheduled to commence in May, with prosecutors also adding allegations of drug offenses and kidnapping to the case. Additional claims in the extended indictment include distribution or intent to distribute methamphetamine and psilocin, a hallucinogen. Prosecutors initially accused Diddy of drug offenses involving cocaine, oxycodone, and ketamine.
