Man Sentenced for Killing 3 Girls at Taylor Swift-Themed Event

British Teen Who Murdered Three Girls at Taylor Swift-Themed Dance Class Sentenced to Decades in Prison

Axel Rudakubana, 18, Pleads Guilty to Killings

A British teen, Axel Rudakubana, has been sentenced to at least 52 years in prison for the murder of three young girls at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport, England. Rudakubana, who was 17 at the time of the July killings, pleaded guilty to the murders of Bebe King, 6, Elsie Dot Stancombe, 7, and Alice da Silva Aguiar, 9, as well as injuring 10 others.

Charges and Sentence

In addition to the murder charges, Rudakubana also pleaded guilty to 10 charges of attempted murder, possession of a knife, possession of an Al Qaeda training manual, and producing the deadly poison ricin. Judge Julian Goose stated during the sentencing that Rudakubana did not receive a life sentence due to his age at the time of the attack, but it is likely that he will never be released from prison.
