Celebrate Earth Day at California State Parks with a Variety of In-Person and Virtual Events
As Earth Day approaches, California State Parks invites you to join in the festivities at any of the 280 state parks across the state. From April 19 to April 27, State Parks will be hosting a range of Earth Day-themed events, both in-person and virtual, to celebrate the beauty of our planet and raise awareness about conservation efforts.
Director of California State Parks, Armando Quintero, emphasizes the importance of Earth Day as a reminder of our connection to the natural world. He states, “Earth Day is a celebration of our connection to the land, the water and each other… Join us in celebrating Earth Day every day!”
From guided nature walks to beach cleanups, interactive junior ranger programs, and hands-on restoration projects, there is something for everyone to participate in. Additionally, virtual programming such as live dives exploring the hidden world of the ocean will be available for those who prefer to celebrate Earth Day from the comfort of their homes.

Climate Action Day at Point Lobos State Natural Reserve

Earth Day Celebration at California Natural Resources Agency

Earth Day at Doheny State Beach
