Tribeca Festival and Whalar Group to Host Lighthouse Campus Festival featuring Will.i.am, Joanna Calo, and Laura Karpman

Tribeca Festival and Whalar Group are teaming up to bring the Lighthouse Campus Festival to Venice, California on February 11-12. The event will feature panel discussions with industry giants such as Will.i.am, Joanna Calo, and Laura Karpman.

The Lighthouse Venice campus is designed to be a hub for creators and creatives in Los Angeles, bringing together talent from film, TV, music, podcasting, food, and more. This two-day festival will include screenings, talks, workshops, and panel discussions aimed at fostering collaboration and inspiration among creative minds.

In addition to the star-studded panels, the festival will showcase a director’s screening of “Bob Trevino Likes It” followed by a discussion with Tracie Laymon. Other notable speakers include Conal Byrn, CEO of iHeartMedia Digital Audio Group, Mike Cessario, CEO of Liquid Death, Hebru Brantley, Kalina Silverman, Hayden Hillier-Smith, and Colin Rosenblum.

The Lighthouse Campus Festival also aims to support displaced creators in the wake of the Los Angeles wildfires. By providing production facilities, creative resources, and a space to work on their craft, the festival is helping creators rebuild and thrive. Furthermore, every speaker at the event has chosen to donate their honorariums to the California Fire Foundation, showing their commitment to supporting firefighters and affected communities.

Jane Rosenthal, co-founder of Tribeca and CEO of Tribeca Enterprises, expressed her excitement about bringing together top talent from film, TV, and music at the festival. She emphasized the importance of collaboration and storytelling in inspiring creativity and building community.

Jon Goss, president of Lighthouse, highlighted the significance of the partnership with Tribeca in shaping the future of the entertainment industry. By bridging the gap between Hollywood and the social media creator generation, the festival aims to create new opportunities and drive innovation in the industry.

The Lighthouse Campus Festival promises to be a dynamic and engaging event that celebrates storytelling and creativity. With a focus on collaboration, inspiration, and community building, the festival is set to be a platform for growth and innovation in the entertainment industry.
