Saquon Barkley and Anna Congdon: A Love Story From College Sweethearts to Parents
Saquon Barkley, a talented running back for the New York Giants, and his longtime love, Anna Congdon, have a love story that began back in their college days. The couple met while attending Penn State University and officially became an item in January 2017.

Who would’ve known that acting a little crazy on this day would lead to the start of what we have!! you have taught me so much in such a short period of time. thank you for your wisdom, patience & understanding – you are truly one of a kind. your love is never taken for granted.”
Their relationship took a new turn when Saquon decided to forgo his senior year at PSU and enter the NFL draft in March 2018. Just a few months later, in a surprise announcement, Anna shared that she was pregnant. Less than 48 hours after being selected second overall in the 2018 draft, Anna gave birth to their daughter, Jada, on April 24, 2018.
Expressing his love for his newborn daughter, Saquon took to Instagram, saying, “Words can’t even describe how I feel right now. You are the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in my life. Thank God for blessing me with you in my life and into my arms. I pray that I can be the best father to you and help you grow into an amazing woman. In a whirlwind of events, Saquon was later traded to the Philadelphia Eagles in March 2024, less than a year after welcoming their son, Saquon Jr., affectionately known as “SJ.”
