Warner Bros. Pictures Animation has announced a new feature adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ final book, “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” directed by Jon M. Chu. The animated musical movie is set to hit IMAX theaters on March 17, 2028, with a storyline focusing on a young adventurer navigating life’s challenges. The screenplay was written by Rob Lieber, and EGOT winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul are creating original songs for the project. The film is based on Dr. Seuss’ book of the same name, published in 1990, and produced by Dr. Seuss Enterprises and Bad Robot with J.J. Abrams and Gregg Taylor as producers. Jon M. Chu, known for his work on Universal’s adaptation of “Wicked,” is coming off the success of the film, which received 10 Oscar nominations. Stay tuned for more updates on this upcoming release.
