Actor Jack Wagner recently shared words of encouragement for his fellow Hallmark Channel star Andie MacDowell after she revealed her diagnosis of piriformis syndrome, a rare muscle disorder. Wagner, known for his role on Hallmark’s “When Calls the Heart,” praised MacDowell, who stars in “The Way Home,” calling her a fighter and an old pro.
Wagner expressed his well wishes for MacDowell, saying, “I just wish her the best. We manage these things as we get older. She’s a fighter, man. She’s an old pro. I hope that she continues to battle this and grow stronger.”
The “Melrose Place” alum also recalled working with MacDowell on a press tour last year, highlighting her talent and down-to-earth personality. MacDowell, who plays Del Landry on “The Way Home,” recently shared her experience with piriformis syndrome on “The Drew Barrymore Show”, discussing her initial fears of needing a hip replacement due to the pain she was experiencing in her leg.
Despite her challenges, MacDowell expressed gratitude that her knees and hips were in good condition, attributing her improvement to physical therapy and exercise. She emphasized the importance of daily workouts in managing her condition.
As for Wagner, he is gearing up for the annual Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions in Orlando, where he will compete alongside top LPGA golfers and other celebrities. Wagner, an avid golfer, looks forward to playing with LPGA pros and celebrities, noting their talent and dedication to the sport.
The tournament, scheduled to take place at Orlando’s Lake Nona Golf & Country Club from January 30 to February 2, promises an exciting competition among golfers and celebrities alike.
