List of winners at the 2025 Costume Designers Guild Awards in English

The 2025 Costume Designers Guild Awards honored the best in film and television costume design, with “Conclave,” “Nosferatu,” and “Wicked” taking home the awards for contemporary, period, and sci-fi/fantasy film, respectively. These films are also nominated for the costume design Oscar, along with “A Complete Unknown” and “Gladiator II.”

In the television category, “Hacks,” “Shogun,” and “Dune: Prophecy” were recognized for their outstanding costume design in the contemporary, period, and sci-fi/fantasy genres. Additionally, “The Masked Singer” was awarded for excellence in variety, reality-competition, and live television.

The 27th annual ceremony, which took place at The Ebell of Los Angeles, also honored individuals in the costume design industry. Emilia Pérez’s Zoe Saldaña received the spotlight award, while Janelle Monáe was presented with the vanguard spotlight award. Jenny Beavan was recognized with the career achievement award, Salvador Perez with the distinguished service award, and Van Smith with the Edith Head hall of fame award.

To support those affected by the recent Los Angeles wildfires, the CDGA added an online auction element to the ceremony, partnering with Propstore to raise funds for the IATSE Emergency Relief Fund.
