George Clooney, Ilana Glazer, and Clark Gregg to Star in “Good Night, and Good Luck” on Broadway
Award-winning actors George Clooney, Ilana Glazer, and Clark Gregg are set to headline the upcoming Broadway production of “Good Night, and Good Luck.” The play, written by Clooney and Grant Heslov, is a theatrical adaptation of the Warner Bros. film that follows journalist Edward R. Murrow’s famous confrontation with U.S. Senator Joseph McCarthy during the height of McCarthy’s anti-communist crusade.
Premiering at the Winter Garden Theatre, the play is slated to begin previews on March 12, with an official opening night scheduled for April 3. Clooney, a Hollywood icon, will be making his Broadway debut in the role of Edward R. Murrow. Glazer, best known for her work in the hit series “Broad City,” will portray Shirley Wershba, while Gregg, famous for his roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will take on the character of Don Hollenbeck.
The star-studded cast also includes Mac Brandt as Colonel Anderson, Will Dagger as Don Hewitt, and Christopher Denham as John Aaron.
