Tour Kelly Bensimon’s Luxurious $8.9 Million NYC Apartment

Kelly Bensimon, at 46, is embarking on a new chapter in her life as an empty nester. With her daughters having left the nest, she is ready to downsize and celebrate her new life filled with family, love, and fun. In an exclusive statement to Us Weekly on Thursday, March 13, Bensimon announced that her three-bedroom, three-bathroom duplex in Manhattan is now on the market for $8,995,000.

The former Real Housewives of New York City star, who shares daughters Sea Louise, 27, and Thadeus Ann Bensimon, 25, with ex-husband Gilles Bensimon, shared her sentiments about the property located at 240 Centre St. In a video, Kelly highlighted the spaciousness of the home, which provided individual privacy with each family member having their own bedroom. This unique layout allowed for a sense of freedom and independence within the living space.

Situated in the historic Police Building, originally constructed in 1909 for NYPD Commissioner Teddy Roosevelt, the duplex boasts Romanesque and Beaux-Arts architecture. Declared a New York City landmark in 1978, the building exudes charm and character, offering a glimpse into the city’s rich architectural history.

Massive windows in the apartment flood the space with natural light, creating a vibrant and uplifting ambiance. Kelly expressed her appreciation for the apartment’s beauty, noting how the abundance of light always uplifted her spirits. This positivity was particularly significant during challenging times, such as when she called off her wedding to Scott Litner just four days before the ceremony in June 2024. Seeking solace and strength, she found comfort in her home and has now decided to start afresh in a new residence.

In a recent TikTok video, Kelly shared her excitement about packing for a trip to the Grenadines while preparing to move out of her current apartment. Reflecting on the emotional journey she went through following her broken engagement, she expressed optimism about entering a new phase marked by positivity. As she transitions to her new home, Kelly emphasized the importance of creating a welcoming and harmonious atmosphere, drawing from her experience in building her own house.

In the midst of these changes, Kelly Bensimon remains resilient and optimistic about the future. Her story reflects the resilience and adaptability necessary in times of transition, inspiring others to embrace new beginnings and create spaces that reflect their true selves.
