Commissioned as a collaborative effort between The Hollywood Reporter and esteemed writer and curator Michael Slenske, this exhibition aims to present a fresh perspective on the formal, political, and anthropological themes embodied by the revered Oscar trophy. Thirteen talented artists hailing from Los Angeles to New York have lent their creative vision to reimagine this Hollywood symbol in unique and thought-provoking ways.
Among the artists featured in this exhibition are Grant Levy-Lucero, Kathryn Andrews, Ken Gun Min, Austyn Weiner, Elliott Hundley, Rob Pruitt, Drake Carr, Umar Rashid, Rogan Gregory, Conrad Ruiz, Sachi Moskowitz, Ellen Jong, and Jess Valice.
