A person has died on board a Jet2 aircraft taking holidaymakers from Turkey to Glasgow.
The 44-year-old took sick throughout a night flight leaving Antalya on Tuesday, and have become unresponsive.
After the pilot made a precedence touchdown at Glasgow Airport, the person was pronounced lifeless.
A passenger on the flight informed the Every day Report: ‘We have been round 40 minutes away from touchdown and the subsequent minute, all of the cabin crew began operating towards the seats behind me.
‘A person had been pulled onto the aisle they usually have been making an attempt to present him mouth-to-mouth.’
They mentioned their fellow passengers have been ‘crying and actually shaken up by it’, including: ‘it was actually unhappy’.
A spokesperson for Jet2 mentioned: ‘We are able to verify that Flight LS110 from Antalya to Glasgow requested a precedence touchdown on Tuesday night, resulting from an unresponsive buyer onboard.
‘Regrettably, we are able to verify that the client handed away.
‘Our ideas are with the client’s household and mates at this very troublesome time.’
A Police Scotland spokesperson mentioned: ‘We have been made conscious round 7.20pm on Tuesday, 7 March of a 44-year-old man taking unwell on board a flight which had arrived at Glasgow Airport.
‘The person was pronounced lifeless a short while later.
‘A report shall be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.’
