In a heartfelt Instagram post on Jan. 21, Egglesfield expressed gratitude for catching his prostate cancer early. “After a year of research and consultations with healthcare professionals, I chose to be proactive and undergo surgery,” he shared.

Reflecting on a quote from an interview in 1998, Egglesfield emphasized the importance of attitude when facing challenges. “It’s not the hand you’ve been dealt; it’s how you play the cards that counts,” he recalled. Despite the uncertainty of his most recent cancer diagnosis, the actor is determined to face it with positivity and strength.
